Small town. Big change.

LEAD Green is a leadership development program founded by Fallon native Garrett Kalt. It is based on the premise of providing opportunity to the current and future student leaders of Churchill County through training and mentorship. The connections made at LEAD Green will propel the most driven and talented students to be better leaders for their communities.

The organization began halfway through the nearly 11-hour drive between Fallon, Nevada and Pullman, Washington, as Kalt reflected on the opportunities he has received built on the foundation provided by his community in Fallon. On that car ride, as Kalt was returning to Washington State University for his junior year, LEAD Green was born. It was Garrett's idea and desire to give future leaders growing up in Churchill County the tools and network to inspire them to be superiour leaders making sustainable change.

Through education and development training, LEAD Green strives to prepare youth for life after high school while simultaneously empowering them to enact change in their communities by bettering themselves.

This program will provide driven student leaders with development training and education that will allow them access to invaluable personal development that was inspired by the place that each of them call home.
