Small town. Big change.

LEAD Green is a leadership development nonprofit organization founded by Fallon native Garrett Kalt. It is based on the premise of providing opportunity to the current and future student leaders of Churchill County through training and mentorship. The connections made through LEAD Green will propel students from various backgrounds to be better leaders for their communities.

The organization began halfway through the nearly 11-hour drive between Fallon, Nevada and Pullman, Washington, as Kalt reflected on the opportunities  and support he received from his community in Fallon. On that car ride, as Kalt was returning to Washington State University for his junior year, LEAD Green was born. It was Garrett's idea and desire to give future leaders growing up in Churchill County the tools and network to inspire them to be superior leaders making sustainable change.

Through education and development training, LEAD Green strives to prepare youth for life after high school while simultaneously empowering them to enact change in their communities by bettering themselves.

LEAD Green is a year old and has impacted over 100 high school students within Churchill County through our Annual Leadership Summits and Scholarship Program.

This is the beginning. We are growing and will continue to be a top advocate and resource for the youth of Churchill County.
